Election news updates
Once every four years, we elect people to our councils.
Choose those who’ll make positive change.
October 17, 2026, is election day for all three North Shore municipalities—the City of North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver, and the District of West Vancouver. If you want transportation choices, more housing options, green infrastructure, and streets for kids and people, this is your chance to elect people who will make the changes you want.
Advance Voting has begun. Here are the 2026 municipal council candidates we recommend in all three municipalities across the Shore.
Nominations have now closed. Look at all the people interested in running! That’s amazing. Learn more about the number one issue in each of the three munis.
